Purple Bellflower

A pretty deep purple wildflower was found off the road. One was at the top of Phulchowki (2600m) and at a lower elevation (1600m) about halfway down from the top. It grows in rocky areas in small clusters. The leaves are hairy and many. The small Bellflowers are numerous on the small branches. It flowers during the monsoon and until late September.

Green Bonnet Bellflower
Nepali:
The Bellflower grows as a vine. It has ovate leaves with greenish-yellow bell-shaped flowers. The vine climbs through rocky areas on the path toward Khanigaun. The elevation is between 1700-3000m. It was blooming in September.
